Ohshima-mura is a village in Joetsu area in Japan. Dr. Niibori described beautiful nature and traditional festival in this village in the music. Composer, Dr. Niibori himself conducted the orchestra. It was the first time to perform all the movements. This music caused a great sensation in Sydney Opera House later.
